Classroom website/blog click here/sitio de la Sra. Raff Velia Raff (4/5 grado) inmigró a Nuevo Mexico de México a la edad de diez años. Obtuvo su Bachillerato en Educación Primaria con énfasis en Educación Bilingue y ESL de la Universidad de Nuevo Mexico y recientemente se ha graduado con su Maestria en Lenguas, Literatura y Estudios Socioculturales.
Desde 2002, Velia ha trabajado como maestra de Lenguaje Dual en la escuela Primaria Longfellow en el cuarto y quinto grado. Durante su tiempo en Longfellow, Velia tuvo puestos de liderazgo en diferentes comités y trabajo en el comité planeando La Coasecha Conference. Velia tiene tres hijos, Francisca 8 años, Joaquín 6 años y Agustín 1 año. A la familia les gusta mucho leer y participar en eventos de Arte. Todos están muy emocionados por la oportunidad de ser parte de la comunidad de Ci Velia Raff (4th/5th grade)
moved to New Mexico from México when she was 10 years old. She earned her B.A. in Elementary Education with emphasis in both Bilingual Education and ESL from the University of New Mexico and has recently graduated with her M.A. from UNM’s Department of Language, Literacy and Sociocultural Studies.
Since 2002, Velia has worked as a Dual Language Teacher at Longfellow Elementary School in the fourth and fifth grade. While at Longfellow, Velia helped with leadership committees and has worked on the Planning Committee for La Cosecha Conference.
Velia has three children, Francisca 8 yrs., Joaquín 6 yrs. and Agustín 1 yr. The family enjoys reading and the Arts. They are all looking forward to becoming a part of the Cien Aguas Community. |
